28 November 2024

“Echoes of Ancient Times” is the result of a new collaboration with medieval/Renaissance multi-instrumentalist Yannick Marciaux. Yannick travels across France, animating street performances and sharing the stage with numerous artists. He is also a composer and soundtrack producer. With his 30 instruments, you'll feel as if you're living in medieval, Celtic, or Renaissance times.

“Echoes of Ancient Times” is an album that transports us to the heart of the medieval era, where the echoes of Celtic lands resonate through every note and melody. This epic album opens with vast and mysterious soundscapes, evoking misty hills, deep forests, and enchanted valleys where legends and history intertwine. With its medieval fantasy ambiance, it is well-suited for documentaries, role-playing games, and more.

Traditional instruments like the Duduk, Bagpipes, and Irish flute dominate the orchestration, weaving a narrative that shifts between calm, almost meditative passages and moments of intensity, evoking the tension of ancient battles and the trials of heroes of old. The album also features powerful, enveloping choirs, reinforcing the impression of an epic journey through mythical worlds and forgotten realms.

“Echoes of Ancient Times” stands out for its immersive atmosphere, recreating the Celtic soul in all its depth and nostalgia. The harmonies, at times gentle, at times bold, are like whispers from a distant past, inviting us to explore the mysteries of a bygone era, whose spirit still survives through the music. This album will captivate fans of epic music, folklore, and fantasy, offering a true immersion into a world where ancient legends come alive.
