Dystopias : Back to origins

In a relatively distant future, we can estimate around 3100 after Jc, D-503 is an aeronautical engineer in the service of the One State.
D-503 live in the city of glass, city surrounded by a wall of glass which separates it from nature. Individuals, or “numbers”, live in harmony, but without feelings. Like the other passions, Love was banned because considered dangerous for the stability of society. Dreams and imagination are also prohibited.
The master of the One State, called the Welldoer, asked the engineer to built a spaceship, the Integral, bringing its well speak beyond the borders of the solar system. While it is dedicated entirely to this cause, D-503 decided to draft in parallel a diary in which he described his daily life, including the Personal Hours and how it occupy them. This exercise inhibitions feelings hitherto content.
By chance during a walk, D-503 met I-330, a young woman, joyous and extraverti. This meeting messes up the routine life of the engineer. The love helping, it comes complete the process of awareness of existence as a sentient being.
Taking advantage of the relative freedom afforded by any personal hours, I-330 D-503 quietly leads to an ancient house, a museum of oldness.
But this house holds another secret …
